The IDR Trader's Perspective on EUR/USD
EUR/USD's IDR pip value is larger than USD/IDR at comparable lot sizes — and it changes daily with USD/IDR. At USD/IDR 18.00, 1 standard lot on EUR/USD costs R180 per pip versus R10 per pip on USD/IDR. For a IDR-account trader wanting to risk R500 on a 50-pip stop, the correct lot size is: R500 ÷ (50 × R18.00) = 0.0056 standard lots (5.6 micro-lots).
EUR/USD vs EUR/IDR — Which to Trade?
SA traders wanting euro exposure have two choices: EUR/USD or EUR/IDR.
